By far the weakest film of the series, Final Destination 3 really does not bring the series any further than the second one did. Honestly after seeing the first film and the amazing gore filled film that it was I think once you’ve gone though seeing the first film, the sequels more or less just devalue the original. Mainly because as we all know their not just there to make the story continue, but rather to make money as well.

Final Destination 3 is pretty much the same plot as the first two, except the concept is different just like the second film was. This time it revolves around a roller coaster accident, where, yup you guessed it a girl has a vision of people dying. She flips out and half the people on the coaster get off, while the front half of the people on the coaster end up dead. Thus Death comes killing again taking all the people that were supposed to die in the coaster accident in the order they were on the coaster. So pretty much it’s the same plot different locations.

One thing that I can say is that the acting in this film is a lot better than in the second film, but not as good as it was in the first film. The cast is basically filled with a bunch of unknowns, but I have to admit they were not half bad. The film also garnishes a new set of kills as the first two film do, so we do get some over the top special effects. Mainly CGI effects, but there still pretty cool. The Production value of the film is not as great as the first two, however the film itself has a different kind of appeal than the first two did, which separates the film as a whole from the first two. In a nutshell the sets are a lot more zany than where the first two film had more of a dark feel to them.

Overall, Final Destination 3 is the same film as the first two, it just takes place in a different area of the country, and involves a different scenario. If you liked the first two, you’ll probably like this one, however it pretty much the same movie, and I can’t stress that enough. So check it out if you want. However it up to you check it out if you want, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.
