Blood Shot is possibility one of the best short films I’ve seen this year, the idea behind this film is awesome and I think my only complaint about this film is that it’s not a feature. with a running time of 21 minutes, Blood shot manages to keep your attention throughout the whole film, It’s got plenty of blood and plenty of action. The comedy is nothing but great as well. the overall production value and effects are not that bad either and the acting is excellent.
The plot revolves around a Vampire who works for the U.S. Government, he goes around killing terrorist and anyone else whom is a threat to national security. While doing his job he is constantly pursued by a police officer, who wants nothing but to kill him. After a very long fight between the two, The Vampire and the cop team up to take out a terrorist cell within our country.
Overall this film was great, I just wish it was a feature film, and hopefully it will be some day, the idea is great, and I think it would make a great Hollywood action/horror film some day. Check out the official website (Link Above) for where and when Blood Shot is playing, as the film is being shown throughout the United States at film festivals and conventions.
